FeedBurner has always been a bit buggy and unreliable. I should have abandoned it a long time ago. It’s time for me to say, “GOODBYE!” to FeedBurner and “HELLO!” to Mailchimp. Making the switch from FeedBurner to Mailchimp will be an easy transition for me. More importantly, Mailchimp is better for you.
When Twitter suspended my account on January 22nd, I submitted an appeal within hours. It’s now March 1st, but I’ve received no update from Twitter on the status of my appeal or the reinstatement of my 13-year-old Twitter account, which was suspended based on dubious allegations that several tweets — tweets that were weeks and […]
If you have registered a domain through an accredited registrar and receive an email from Domain Registration Corp, don’t fall for it. This is a scam. I repeat, it is SCAM.
In the early morning hours of January 22nd I received an email from Twitter stating my account had been permanently suspended. As you would expect after having the account I’ve had for over 13 years permanently suspended, I have submitted an appeal.
I’m relaunching my long-defunct website and it will, from this point forward, be dedicated primarily to highlighting my work as a writer. It’s likely that most of the work featured here will be fiction, primarily in the form of short stories and serials.
Tax code this, IRS that… fiscal cliff… blah, blah, blah. Rachel Maddow sums up the original issue, as well as Rush’s personal attacks on Sandra Fluke in this segment on her show. Rush Limbaugh is not only a despicable misogynist, he doesn’t even have a basic understanding of how birth control pills work. Let’s put aside for moment that his imbecilic rant has nothing to […]
There is an old Cherokee proverb that speaks of two wolves that exist within each of us. These wolves compete in a lifelong struggle for control. At stake is the eternal impact we have on the world around us. As a grandfather explained to his grandson, one wolf represents good – peace, love, compassion, empathy […]
Early this morning I was driving home, listening to a local morning show here in Jacksonville. It’s called “Your Hometown Morning Show” and features 99.9 Gator Country radio personalities Steve Sutton, Eden Kendall and Amadeus. Though, I should note, that Eden is on vacation this week and was not a party to this conversation. During […]
A monumental 5-4 Supreme Court decision on Thursday has blocked the ban on corporate political spending, giving corporations unparalleled and unprecedented influence over the American democratic process. Hooray for Democracy! Oh, wait…not so much. The ruling ultimately lifts corporate entities to the status of “citizen”, providing them with the same protections under The Bill of […]
Governor Sarah Palin’s first ever policy speech should have been a slam-dunk. The topic of the speech? Funding for programs that address the plight of children with special needs. A subject that – if for no other reason, as the mother of a child with special needs – should be well within the wheelhouse of […]
