I finally know why I ended up here, geographically & existentially, and it’s to play a role in bringing down MiddleTown Property Group. I feel a certain amount of responsibility for misery caused between the Christmas of 2022 and today. Had I sued them after this building flooded as a direct result of their willful negligence and malicious incompetence, I might have been able to compel them to modify their behavior. Some of what has happened to everyone MiddleTown Property Group has victimized over the past year & a half is on me, at least in the sense that I didn’t take action to stop them sooner… and I’m sorry.
It’s time I do something to try to make that right…
You often hear people talk about having a purpose or a calling. Sometimes they seem to know why they’re here from birth. Others find that purpose young and pursue it their entire lives. After almost half a century on this planet, I’d yet to find mine. I’ve started at the bottom and navigated my way to various levels of the corporate ladder over the past 25 years, having worked & consulted for some of the largest businesses in their respective industries. I built a solid skill set and developed expertise in a variety of areas, but nothing ever felt like a calling. My work only ever resulted in professional accolades and buckets of money being shoveled into other people’s bank accounts. While that’s worthwhile on some level, I suppose, I never felt like what I was doing was making anyone’s life better or helping anyone who really needed it. Until now.
For the foreseeable future, this will be my view. All night, every night, I will be parked at this desk doing my best 21st century Erin Brockovich impression, researching and connecting corporate dots, as well as assisting hundreds of MiddleTown Property Group’s current & former victims with finding the resources they need to seek justice, either by pursuing their own lawsuits or participating in a sweeping class action against MiddleTown Property Group and its owners.

You can help me do that, if you’ll just keep reading…
For the first time in my life, I think I’m beginning to understand what having a calling feels like. I finally have an opportunity to use the wide range of skills I’ve honed over the years to accomplish something meaningful and help a lot of people. I don’t believe this is a pursuit someone else with my skill set would undertake unless it was their job, just because of the amount work involved. I’m not sure anyone appreciates the scope and the gravity of the situation. I sure didn’t, until very recently.
People with my knowledge & experience simply don’t have the free time to devote to a project like this or MiddleTown Property Group would have been taken down long before now. They have been preying on college students for years and I’m certain some of their victims’ parents – Gen Xers, just like me – would have taken action by now, if they knew what I’ve come to know and had the time to do what I’m doing. I have the time. I have the skill set. My friends all have kids who are in college or soon will be. I can’t in good conscience allow this to continue without trying to do something to stop it. I can’t allow MiddleTown Property Group to continue preying on my friends’ kids and their friends. This is why my life has taken the circuitous path that it has.
This is why I’m here…
Since I launched middletownpropertygroupsucks.com during the first week of August, some of MiddleTown Property Group’s victims have come to me with unbelievable stories. I’ve referred them to the Indiana Attorney General’s investigator, but I’ve also been compelled to dig deeper myself. I’ve barely begun peeling away the layers of this onion. Getting to the core is going to take time. I have that time. I also have the skills and the will. Everything I’ve done over the past 25+ years – from sales & customer retention to internet marketing & graphic design to research & data analysis – has all been preparing me for what needs to be done to put an end to MiddleTown Property Group’s reign of avarice in my home state.
I was built for this fight. Unfortunately, my computer wasn’t…

Before COVID, I was a freelance website designer, copywriter, and internet marketing consultant. My late-2012 Mac Mini running Catalina was already rapidly approaching the end of its useful life 5 years ago, well before COVID changed the way the world operates and communicates. I have an old webcam, but I have tried & failed to get it to work with Zoom. Same goes for a microphone, so I can’t even make basic VoIP calls. I haven’t been able to update the OS for years and now every time I restart it, I get an alert from Google Drive that it will soon no longer support my OS and Google Drive will no longer work. What a hit to my productivity that will be.
The fact that I’m still able to use it at all in 2024 is a testament to the quality of Apple products, but… man… everything takes two or three times longer than it should and it constantly freezes up, so I lose any unsaved work because I have to force restart. I don’t know how much longer this 12-year-old Mac Mini is gonna hold out. If she gave up the ghost, I don’t know what I’d do.
But I can’t stop. I’m too involved now. I have to see it through.
MiddleTown Property Group Sucks isn’t just a noble pursuit for me anymore. It’s a mission. I’m in full Erin Brockovich mode now. I’ve long wondered if I’d ever get to use the full set of skills I’ve acquired over the past two & a half decades to affect some real change in the world, help people who are being preyed on, or right a grievous wrong. It seems I might have the unique opportunity to do all three with MiddleTown Property Group Sucks, but the clock is the ticking. I continue to hear rumors that there’s a corporate restructuring & bankruptcy scheme in the works. I’m afraid if enough dots aren’t connected quickly enough, they might actually end up getting away with all this and never face any consequences for making thousands of people miserable, destroying their lives, and leaving damaged & decrepit properties all over Central Indiana.
There isn’t time for everything I do take twice as long and to lose work every time this computer freezes up. I also can’t afford a new computer. So I set up an Amazon Wish List for MiddleTown Property Group Sucks. I’m trying to do a spot-on digital Erin Brockovich impression here, but trying to do it with this hardware is like her going after PG&E in the ‘90s without a car. If MiddleTown Property Group Sucks doesn’t manage to get these legal balls rolling fast enough, these shameless, malicious, avarice-driven assclowns will dissolve, rebrand, and start this decade-long cycle of preying on students from their own alma mater and members of their own home state all over again.
You can help make sure they don’t get away with endangering people’s health & welfare and preying on innocent, vulnerable people. If you want to contribute in a very tangible & substantive way to the success of MiddleTown Property Group Sucks and participate in the takedown of a predatory property management company that manages thousands of units across Indiana, purchasing anything on this list or sending Amazon eGift cards for as little as $5 to donations@middletownpropertygroupsucks.com or 765-273-3074 goes directly toward that effort.
If you can’t afford to chip in financially, please share this post on social media. I understand not everyone has cash to spare these days, but if you’re here reading this… is a couple clicks to help spread the word about MiddleTown Property Group Sucks really too much to ask?!?
Thank you in advance for every dollar, every share, and every retweet. The success of MiddleTown Property Group Sucks depends on my ability to communicate with people & connect all these dots and your help goes a long way toward making it possible for me to do that. So thank you.
Don’t forget to follow @MTPGSUCKS on Twitter (X) and MTPGSUCK5 on Facebook to stay in the loop! I plan to do a deep dive into a long list of corporate entities that are associated with MiddleTown Property Group and I suspect it’s gonna be interesting. I’ve already found one LLC owned by one of the Brothers Wilson that bought a 1600 sf 3BR/2BA single-family house in Muncie, Indiana for almost $800,000 that sold in 2016 for just $100,000.
Doesn’t this sound like a story worth following already? What will I find when I keep digging? Don’t you want to see how this all plays out?!?
You can help make sure this story gets told and MiddleTown Property Group is held accountable by donating something from the MiddleTown Property Group Sucks Wish List.
Amazon eGift cards (to donations@middletownpropertygroupsucks.com or 765-273-3074) for as little as $5 will be gladly & gratefully accepted and applied toward the purchase of the following:

Mac Mini ($329-$452) – the oldest of the refurbished Mac Minis on the Amazon Wish List is several years old, but it will still run the latest Mac OS and it comes with a faster processor and 8x the RAM of my existing Mac Mini. I put a few Mac Minis on the list, because they tend to sell quick and any one of them would be a huge upgrade and should be able to run multiple browsers with open tabs, OpenOffice, and other apps simultaneously, as well as being compatible with Zoom & Google Voice, which my old 2012 Mac Mini just can’t handle.

ViewSonic 32 Inch Monitor ($149) – the monitor currently on my desk is only 20” and it was purchased when I first started my freelance website design business during the first term of the Obama administration. My now-47-year-old eyes can really feel the strain of the blue light & flicker these days. I could also really use the extra real estate for all the open windows & apps I’ll be working with aggregating all this information from so many different sources and consolidating it into one cohesive narrative.

EMEET Webcam with Microphone ($29.99) – these days there’s just no way to accomplish anything without being able to do video calls. I’m gonna need to be able to do video calls. This is the least expensive webcam I could find that comes with a microphone and had plenty of positive reviews & high sales volume.

iClever BK10 Bluetooth Keyboard ($34.99) – my full-sized keyboard crapped out a couple years ago and I’ve been using my small, travel-sized keyboard ever since. It works fine, but I type much faster on a full keyboard and I suspect pounding on a keyboard is going to take up an enormous amount of my life for the foreseeable future.

ProtoArc Wireless Trackball Mouse ($24.99) – the full-sized keyboard that crapped out a couple years ago was part of a keyboard/mouse combo, which means along with my small travel keyboard, I’ve also been using my travel mouse for the past couple years. Like the keyboard, it works fine, but I’d be a lot more efficient & productive with a more user-friendly mouse.

Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2 ($69.99) – I find myself in a the somewhat unique position of researching & revealing wrongdoing by a property management company while still living in a building that is owned & managed by them. Moving isn’t an option. It never has been. I’m in too deep now and I can’t stop, but I must admit that some of what I’ve discovered makes me somewhat concerned for my safety. It would make me feel better to know and have video evidence if anyone associated with MiddleTown Property Group approaches my door.

Blink Doorbell Mount ($17.99) – I can’t drill any holes to mount a Blink Doorbell and if I dare mount it with anything that isn’t 100% secure, someone will just steal it right off the wall. This bracket is the perfect solution. I’m in the process of creating a survival guide for new residents and this doorbell & bracket are both included in that toolkit, too.
That’s it… that’s my digital Erin Brockovich-ing tool kit. If you want to help me take down some avarice-driven dickheads who are preying on thousands of college students and vulnerable people all over Indiana, you can buy something off this list or send an Amazon eGift card for as little as $5 to donations@middletownpropertygroupsucks.com or 765-273-3074 that I will put toward buying the items above.
